Bhatghar Dam, Near Bhor, Pune in State of Maharashtra in India. One of the oldest dams in Maharashtra constructed by British Dam completed in 1927 Gravity dam on Yelwanti River near bhor is a good sight especially if all gates are open & Gates Open Automatic When Water Over Flow .Dam Having Two Wall .Backwater is huge for this dam and is good spot to spend some time. This is pretty old dam and Marathi or Bollywood movies are also shot here. It is famous Necklace point of river just take hour to view both place. Necklace point is amazing and more beautiful in monsoon. The Bhatghar dam has developed into a prime picnic gateway & also known as Lloyd dam. Its provide opportunity for water sports, apart from being a relax spot to spend a day. The weather is perfect. Take Banglore highway from Pune and Right from Kapurhole phata. It is 50 km from Pune.
